Aanaab platform for teacher training and professional development in the Mena region is pleased to announce their first collaboration with Professional Education at the Harvard Graduate School of Education (HGSE) to provide a fully Arabic programme targeting educators.

Aanaab has made it its mission to offer high quality programmes that meet international standards and are also tailored to the Arabic speaking teachers around the world, all of which are now available as Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs).

“By collaborating with HGSE, we work towards achieving the main purpose of Aanaab which is offering professional development courses that are unique, enriching and accessible to Arabic speaking teachers everywhere” Dr. Mounira Jamjoom, CEO of Aanaab.

Through this collaboration, we are able to offer you this unique programme on Agile Thinking, addressing how educators make decisions when applying Differentiated Instruction, one of the most critical topics in today’s ever changing education landscape. This programme will impact the way educators and school leaders think and operate especially during the ongoing pandemic.

This programme is led by Dr. Rhonda Bondie, lecturer on education and director of professional learning for the Harvard Teacher Fellows programme. Her teaching and research focus on ensuring all learners are valued, engaged, and stretched in inclusive classrooms.

This programme was developed through the Middle East Professional Learning Initiative (MEPLI) within Professional Education at HGSE. The Initiative produces resources for educators through collaboration with change-makers in the region.
