The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Centre (Sheraa) has launched a Series A programme for startups based in and outside of the UAE.

The programme is intended to help startups refine their strategies by offering interactive workshops, customised lectures and meetups with other entrepreneurs from the ecosystem. The startups will also receive pitch training to prepare them for the Sheraa Showcase Day where they will compete to win $50,000 at no equity.

Sheraa was founded two years ago and is headed up by Najla Al-Midfa. It now has a community of 6000 entrepreneurs and has helped more than 200 startups and has graduated more than 50 startups through its programmes.

Sheraa is now accepting applications for its latest Series A program up until the 13th of January 2019.
