After hosting a successful Mix N’ Mentor in Amman last month, the roadshow for Wamda's flagship event will continue in Beirut on September 14th, which will be carried out in partnership with Beirut Digital District (BDD) as a strategic partner, and our community partners Middle East Venture Partners (MEVP), Phoenician Funds, UK Lebanon Tech Hub, IM Capital and MIT Enterprise Forum Pan Arab.

The event will take place at BDD and the format will be based on roundtable discussions that bring together entrepreneurs, industry experts, investors, among others to focysed on issues relevant to the Lebanese and wider MENA ecosystem.

The day will start with a panel discussion about Lebanon’s various ecosystem initiatives, followed by a number of roundtable discussions centered around fundraising, customer acquisition (B2C) and (B2B), and the starting-up process, led by companies like Anghami, Uber, Careem, and more. Workshops lined up for the afternoon include “Cash Flow Management” on how a startup can more effectively and frugally manage their cash, “Pitching Clinic” conducted by Wamda Capital about how founders can deliver effective pitches, as well as other topics that address the challenges of the startups attending.

The event is not open for the public, and registration is required. Criteria includes  being an established tech enabled startup with a solid track record. Interested startups and other ecosystem players are invited to apply here and approved applicants will be notified by email.
