GE Egypt Digital Innovation Challenge
General Electric, in partnership with the Egyptian Ministry of Communication and Information Technology and the Technology Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center (TIEC), has launched the GE Egypt Digital Innovation Challenge.
The competition aims to encourage Egyptian entrepreneurs and thought leaders to invent and develop digital solutions and technologies capable of tackling some of Egypt’s imminent industrial challenges in the areas of energy, healthcare, and transportation.
The deadline for applying is November 30, 2016. One winner will be selected from each of the three categories and will go on to receive a cash proze of EGP 100,000, as well as an opportunity to receive training to develop their software solutions using GE’s cloud-based operating system, Predix.
