On April 29, Moroccan Game Developers and Moroccan CISE are holding a first-of-its-kind weekend-long hackathon under the title "Gamifying for Social Impact" between April 29 and May 1 at NGO Moroccan CISE's premises in Rabat, Morocco.

This hackathon will bring together social entrepreneurs, makers, and game developers to co-create solutions for environmental issues in Morocco. Their main approach would be the gamification of social entrepreneurship to come up with solutiions that would be more appealing to users.

Pollution-related diseases and environmental challenges have been on the rise in Morocco in recent years. If you're passionate about helping your country, this is your challenge.

Professionals and enthusiasts from the gaming, entrepreneurship, design and makers community of Morocco will gather for a 48-hour hackathon to apply games mechanics and develop cross-functional solutions and prototypes for pressing environmental problems in Morocco.
