Cities are facing great challenges today in various sectors: environmental, transportation, energy, water, services integration, governance, communication, and many others.

In line with these challenges, the 22nd TechForum of DSOA will highlight several topics concerning smart cities and their design thinking challenges and solutions. Commencing with a keynote introduction by Intel called “Smart Homes Away from Home”, by Michel Abou Diwan, MENA IoT Sales Manager at Intel.

The forum will include a design thinking workshop by Ghanim Al Falasi, Senior Vice President of DSOA and Novel Tjahyadi, Innovation Specialist at DSOA. The workshop allows participants to get engaged in developing conceptual solutions for challenges facing major cities today. The event will take place at the Dubai Technology Entrepreneur Centre (DTEC) on March 15.

Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to tour the only Intel® Internet of Things Ignition Lab in MENA and view the latest solutions developed across different segments.
