Int@j connects ICT companies in Jordan with Saudi companies 

The Information and Communications Technology Association in Jordan int@j will be organizing a Trade Mission to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 23-28, 2013.

In this mission, a group of Jordanian ICT companies will be participating in the delegation represented by Globitel, Savvytek, Integrated Technology Group, Mena iTech, Albader Consulting, Arab Advisors Group, Business Plus Plus, STS and SSS Process. 

These Jordanian companies will be connected to representatives from the Saudi government and to international and regional companies operating in Saudi Arabia. 

“The purpose of the meetings is to discuss business development opportunities between ICT Jordanian and Saudi companies, strengthen the relations between both sectors, establish new connections that will lead to increased exports of products and services from Jordan to the Saudi market, and to develop potential partnerships with systems integrators and International companies in KSA,” according to a press release.


Souq.com launches Cyber Week 

After the success of international online sales event Cyber Monday last year, leading e-commerce site Souq.com yesterday launched Cyber Week to offer online shoppers bigger discounts from November 25 through December 2, 2013.

During this week, buyers from all over the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Kuwait will benefit from more than 1,000 special offers, including deals for mobile phones, tablets and other devices, according to Mobilik.net.

“Cyber Week 2013 will offer to consumers through Souq.com and for the first time, new categories including beauty products, bags and shoes, and a entire collection of homeware,” says Omar ElSahi, General Manager at Souq.com, in a press release. “We expect in Egypt a huge demand for the consumers’ side on the most selling categories, such as televisions, mobile phones, tablets and also perfumes and watches.”
