Public Interest Design Levant, an NGO dedicated to design thinking and entrepreneurship, and IZEM for industrial design, are bringing The Innovation Factory to Beirut, a three-story space for designers, makers and entrepreneurs. Featuring all-new fabrication technologies, co-working spaces, and plans for workshops and events, the Innovation Factory serves as a platform for product and service invention and re-invention. Its launch will take place on Saturday May 28 at IZEM's premises in Mkalles area, Beirut.

Join them at their open house event and meet like-minded, forward-thinking, inventive professionals who are willing to launch new chapters in Beirut’s design, science, and technology sectors.

In addition, a documentary screening of PID’s latest project, The Cluster Development Initiative, will offer a case study of merging between digital fabrication and traditional craftsmanship, and their impact on the future of design, arts & crafts in Beirut.
