This Saudi innovation could be the solution for efficient solar panels in the desert
Georg Eitelhuber, an energy efficiency engineer, introduces NOMADD (No water Mechanical Automated Dusting Device) a system designed for desert conditions to clean the dust off solar panels. This dust usually causes massive efficiency reduction.
When NOMADD was launched three years ago in Saudi Arabia the industry was still small. Today, in the Kingdom alone, there is $100 billion ready to be rolled out for solar power projects over the next 15 to 20 years.
