Qatari healthtech At Home Doc raises $1.9 million pre-Series A round
- Qatari-based healthtech platform At Home Doc, has raised $1.9 million in a pre-series A round led by Elaj Group’s investment arm Tawasol Holdings, endorsed by Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and other angel investors.
- Founded in 2015 by Hatem Elfieshawy and Hesham Elfeshawy, At Home Doc provides on-demand at-home medical services.
- The partnership will accelerate the all-inclusive healthcare expansion of home care services, including doctor home visits, telemedicine, medication delivery as well as at-home lab services for all Saudi and non-Saudi employees and their families in the private sector.

Qatari-based health-tech platform At Home Doc has raised $1.9 million in a pre-series A round led by Elaj Group’s investment arm Tawasol Holdings, endorsed by Qatar Development Bank (QDB) and other angel investors.
Ahead of December 2022, At Home Doc today announced that they are partnering with Elaj Group and are set to accelerate the all-inclusive healthcare expansion of home care services in KSA. Founded in 2016 by Hesham Elfeshawy and Hatem ElFeshawy, At Home Doc aims to expand the reach of healthcare services in the MENA & GCC regions using innovative tech to make healthcare universally accessible and affordable through its partnership with Elaj Group by delivering a plan to use the investment for driving the startup’s operational expansion in KSA.
Tawasol Holdings for Financial Investments is an affiliate of Elaj Group and its investment arm. As a result of QDB previous investment in At Home Doc in 2018, They Developed “A.I.D.A”, real-time diagnosis AI for instant virtual diagnosis and supported by delivering comprehensive medical needs to your doorstep at the push of a button.

The partnership will accelerate the all-inclusive healthcare expansion of home care services which include but are not limited to doctor home visits, telemedicine, medication delivery as well as at-home lab services for all Saudi and non-Saudi employees and their families in the private sector, decreasing expenditure, and increase the percentage of patients with a digital health record for corporates and individuals while leveraging its unique health tech digital platform “Metadoc”.
The platform is aimed at patients who can’t travel a large distance for an in-person visit, offering them tools to connect instantly with their primary care provider. These tools include fundamentals, like online consultations, in-person home services, prescription refill and memberships giving patients discounts, as well as a variety of entertaining features, like watching, sharing and creating informative health and wellness bite-sized videos on the mobile app.
