How Covid-19 unlocked the adoption of e-commerce in the Mena region
Wamda, in partnership with MIT Legatum Entrepreneurship Center, will be hosting an online panel to launch a report on ‘How Covid-19 unlocked the adoption of e-commerce in the Mena region’ on Wednesday 17th, March at 4:00 PM [UAE time] to discuss the findings.
The Middle East’s e-commerce sector was already on the rise before the coronavirus pandemic, but the subsequent lockdowns resulted in a boom that has had a wider impact across different sectors of the economy. The panel will highlight the implications of e-commerce growth in the region, what it means for inclusion, and how to sustain the momentum of this ever-important sector.
