Access to education, healthcare, water, electricity, food, shelter, and security remain the top challenges facing the Bottom of the Pyramid (BoP) populations.

Since, 68 percent of the population in the MENA belongs to the BoP, around 45 startups in the region have taken up the challenge of creating solutions for local development and emergency-response for the BoP.
