ROVArab Competition
Applications for the upcoming ROVArab competition have recently opened for students of all educational levels, whether university, high school, or even middle school.
For those who don’t know, the ROVArab competition is basically for students to design and build an ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) or an underwater robot to achieve a number of real-life missions which could push forward the research and development related to that field.
The competition is held in coordination with the MATE Center which coordinates with an international network of 21 regional ROV contests taking place in the US, Canada, Hong Kong, Scotland, Russia, Japan, Egypt and other Arab countries. The competition consists of three different "classes" that vary depending on the sophistication of the ROVs and the mission requirements.
The deadline to submit your application is Thursday December 15.
