Innoventures LLC, in partnership with VC4Africa, have launched the third cycle of Startup Reactor for Egyptian startups. This five-month program is accepting applications with the aim of coaching and investing in 10 Egyptian seed-stage startups starting in August 2016. Deadline for applications is July 10.

25 startups will be initially selected based on their innovation, market opportunity, and team commitment. The industry focus will be on clean technology, energy, software, electronics, product design, agriculture technology, media, culture and business intelligence. The startups will attend a one month bootcamp, and the 10 most promising participants will advance to the complete Startup Reactor program.

All applicants to the program will benefit from continuous exposure to investors and partners through the VC4Africa platform. Startups qualifying for Startup Reactor will  follow an immersive training and mentoring program as they develop their business model, prototype, brand and customer base. 

The top 3 startups will also receive cash prizes totaling €10,000 from Work In Progress! alliance. Participating investors and mentors will take an equity stake in the ventures which they choose to support.
