Funding is the entrepreneur's perpetual problem, as highlighted over and over again at events like Rise Up in Egypt and Mix 'n Mentor Dubai.

WOMENA, an organization launched in 2014 to support women investors, has turned these issues into an infographic, showing that the $500,000 to $1 million funding gap is still apparent in MENA.

But the number of angels is rising, as is the number of venture capital firms in the region (albeit at a much slower rate) so, very slowly, the investment side is blooming as well.
