Join the second edition of "Arab World Meets Silicon Valley"
Also known as the Global Track, the "Arab world meets Silicon Valley" program is running its second edition organized by the MIT Enterprise Forum pan Arab, in partnership with Bab Rizk Jameel. It serves as an eye-opener on Silicon Valley’s massive resources. Launched for the first time in June 2014, 20 startups from various sectors flew to Silicon Valley for a week-long immersive program, where entrepreneurs participated in premier conferences and took part in diverse workshop, mentorship, and pitching sessions with experts. This year, the event will take place on September 21-27th, focusing on the following:
- Strategic Partnerships
- Expansion into the US Markets
- Fundraising
- Connections and int’l exposur
- September 21st - 23rd : MITEF Arab Pavilion at TechCrunch Disrupt San Francisco
- September 24th: Entrepreneurs are off to their meetings
- September 25th: Investors & Pitch day
- September 26th: Techwadi Forum,Followed by a Gala Dinner
- September 27th: Workshops & Mentorship day
And finally, eligible startups are expected to meet 3 out of 4 criteria:
- Legally registered company + ideally 2 years in operation
- Generating at least $500K/year in revenues
- Raised at least one round of investment
- Has regional/global reach or presence
