Wamda launches Wamda Debates in Casablanca
When a topic is good, time always runs out. We've seen that first hand at our Mix N' Mentor events where we often are forced to cut conversations short to move on to the next activity.
That's why we decided to create a new format designed to let local entrepreneurs dig deeper into select topics. Wamda Debates will be organized in selected cities, and will revolve around topics relevant to each city's own ecosystem. These events will gather 15 members of each local startup scene to share their experiences, in hopes of working towards concrete solutions for each city’s unique challenges.
These debates are intended to benefit the entire Wamda Community; for this reason we we will publish articles summing up the conversations, as well as invite the participants to continue debating online.
To inaugurate this new format, entrepreneurs in Casablanca will gather to debate the issue of online payments. This event, organized with the help of Startup Maroc, will take place on February 14th at New Work Lab. Wamda will publish the conclusions of the debate a few days afterward; in the meantime, you can follow #WamdaDebate and @WamdaCommunity tweets to see what the participants have to say.
