Wamda’s Mix N’ Mentor Beirut brought together entrepreneurs and mentors from across Lebanon to discuss and workshop the main challenges they face from day to day at their startups. Topics ranged from finding and managing funds to building a team, customer development to marketing and sales.

In the short video above, entrepreneurs note the key advice they received from the day’s mentors, including what they need to do to prepare for their first rounds of investment and how to effectively hire, or fire, team members.

Attendees received advice catered to their specific startup as well; the founders of social calendar Lebtivity noted that mentors encouraged them to be more aggressive in pushing their business, committing themselves full-time to the success of the project. Gamabox founder Souad Merhebi also noted that she received some hints about improving her mobile games’ discoverability on the App Store. MnM Beirut left participating entrepreneurs hungry to try out the new tips they learned from the day’s expert mentors who joined us from across the region.
