Starting today, the Wamda community can share their own news, thoughts, experience or even tips and tricks from their entrepreneurial journey on the Wamda Community Blog. We want to make sure every entrepreneur from the Arab world, or interested in the regional ecosystem, can interact, ask for advice, or just answer other entrepreneurs' questions, by contributing to the community blog.

To celebrate this new feature, we are organizing a small competition. Author a blogpost about your favorite highlights of 2012 (startups, competitions, investments, events, or other news) and publish it on the Wamda Community Blog by January 10, 2013. The best blogpost submitted will be featured on Wamda's main page, will become a WamdaCard holder, and will receive a Wamda Polo shirt. If you already have a WamdaCard, you will get a free subscription for the next year or you can gift it to an entrepreneur of your choice. 

Follow the few simple steps below to get a clearer idea of how to post on the Wamda Community Blog:

1. Sign up on Wamda. 
   
   If you are already signed up, skip to step 2. In case you forgot your password, click on Forgot Password and reset it by following a link sent to your mail.
   
   
   
   
2. Once you confirm your registration in your e-mail inbox, go to Add/Edit Posts by clicking on your name on top of the page.
   
   
   
   
3. Insert and publish your content.
   
    

In order to boost your post's traffic, have a look at the tips below:

• Add a thumbnail or link to a bigger photo to illustrate your article.
• Add tags and categories at the right side of the page if the language is English and the left side if the language is Arabic.
  
   
  
  Your post will now show up directly on your profile page. Once our editors check and confirm your content, it will show on the community page, and our editors might even surprise you by moving your post to be featured on the Wamda homepage. To increase the chances of being featured on the main page, make sure you focus your posts on topics related (directly or indirectly) to entrepreneurship in the Arab world. And don't forget to submit your entrepreneurial highlights before January 10th, you might just win a WamdaCard!
