Kidpreneur Award
BizWorld UAE, a social enterprise specializing in entrepreneurship education, and Entrepreneur Middle East announce the launch of the KidPreneur Award 2018 which is the largest business idea for students up to the age of 15 in the UAE. The finals will take place on October 7th in Dubai where students will pitch their ideas to a panel of established entrepreneurs and business leaders.
Students from the UAE are invited to register online before September 28, 2018 (www.kidpreneuraward.com) to pitch their business ideas through ‘elevator pitches’ to a panel of judges in an exercise designed to prepare young people for the entrepreneurship world. The judging panel will be chaired by Magnus Olsen - Founder of Careem, Kris Fade of Virgin Radio’s Kris Fade show, Nabra Al Busaidi, Executive Director, Young Arab Leaders, and Wissam Younane, CEO, BNC Publishing (Entrepreneur Middle East). Free to register, the top applicants will make a short pitch to the judges who will select the grand prize winners (top three will receive a cash reward).
Open to all students in the UAE up to the age of 15, the applicants can be individuals or teams of four. The finalists for the Award will be chosen and notified by BizWorld UAE team by October 1, 2018 and the grand prize winners will be picked based on the “creativity, viability and marketability of their businesses” as judged in the pitch competition.
