Very new, in beta since November 2016, this is a portal for potential home owners/investors that lets you know which properties are currently under construction in your chosen area. They are currently working with 10 real estate developers in five countries.

A medical VR education platform, this company was founded in Germany in 2013 but they have recently come to Jordan. They are providing healthcare education for those in the field through online platforms, VR/AR medical interactive applications and customized 3D medical content.

This is Giphy.com but in Arabic. They started in April but launched a beta version in November 2016. Users can also upload their own gif creations.

Global Electric Vehicle Road Trip (EVRT) is what it says, a road trip with electric cars. It’s also formerly Mycars, a startup in Dubai that looks to promote the use of electric vehicles in the Gulf.

Looking for parking can be a nightmare. This app hopes to sort this for drivers by making use of underused spots throughout the city. They just graduated from Speed@BDD.

It’s GPS but for indoors. That means you can track people, or in the case of this company, customers, as they move around large indoor facilities such as malls. They started out in the UK in 2013 but went on to launch in the Middle East in 2015. Currently they are working out of Astrolabs in Dubai.

Launched in October 2015, they are finally becoming more well known around Beirut and working with 1,200 homes/businesses. They employ refugees to collect your weekly/monthly recycling, sort it, and send it to various recycling plants in South Beirut.

Launched in February 2016 this is a mobile dentist finder and appointment booker. To date they have 700 dentists, from differing specialities, registered on the site. The founder says they have 35,000 downloads and 6,000 active users, and a presence in Jordan, Iraq, Palestine, Kuwait, Bahrain, Sudan, Qatar, KSA, Oman and Egypt. They are headquartered in Dubai.
