EI Appathon is an event in which 50+ teams, consisting of 150+ developers compete with each other to produce a mobile app on a given banking theme. Organized by Emirates Islamic and powered by SquareCircle Tech, EI Appathon seeks to discover the next big thing in financial technology. Over a 24-hour period, 130-150 participants from UAE will gather to innovate and produce mobile apps on given banking themes. The event will take place at Crowne Plaza Dubai from 26-27 February. Winners will get cash prizes from Emirates Islamic.

Whether you’re an amateur or an expert in mobile app development, join the Appathon for 24 hours of innovation and sharpen your skills alongside technology experts. You can choose from two competition tracks:

Student Track: for students aged less than 25, currently pursuing graduate or undergraduate programs in UAE, and have the required skills to create a mobile app. A valid university ID card should be presented at the event. 

Professional Track: for passionate tech experts currently working as technology professionals and forming a team for this event.
