Building Interactive Stories in Arabic for Children on Sacha Books [Wamda TV]
Co-founder Samer Adel Youssef of Egyptian startup Sacha Books, presenting at Google's startup competition in Cairo, Ebda2, describes how he built a digital bookstore offering Arabic interactive stories and games for children.
He demonstrates how children can interact with scenes, play games, and assemble puzzles, while reading the stories. Youssef also explains how he intends to encourage third party digital content creators to build stories for the platform, an integrated program that updates the bookshelf automatically once new books are published. So far the stories have been very well-received, he says.
