On December 1st 2014, Jusoor launched The Entrepreneurship Competition with 3 phases, which will result in the selection of three winners during Jusoor’s Annual Global Conference in Los Angeles in February 2015.

Jusoor is a community of Syrians living around the world working together to launch programs that benefit the Syrian community inside and outside Syria. It is a non-political organization, which believes that youth in Syria should have access to profoundly better opportunities.

Jusoor runs its Entrepreneurship Program that aims to create a strong collaborative community for Syrian entrepreneurs to learn from successful businesses, peers and role models. The main aspect of the program is the yearly-planned Entrepreneurship Competition, where competitors will present ideas to the Jusoor jury during Annual Global Conference in Los Angeles in February 2015.

About the Entrepreneurship Competition:

• The competition launched this December 2014 with 3 phases (submit an application, online competition and the final presentation).

• Top 3 financial prizes, in addition, 10 startup teams will win the opportunity to go through a 3 week bootcamp program with Oasis500 in Amman.

• The winning startups should have businesses with the potential for growth and impact on job creation, economic and social development, and the building up of skills and expertise in new industries.
